Ryanair's passenger numbers jumped 51 per cent to over 2.1 million in March, compared with the same month the previous year, the company announced today.
However, the load factor, which indicates the percentage of seat capacity filled, remained the same as the previous year, at 78 per cent.
Ryanair said it had 2.14 million passengers in March, up from 1.42 million in the same month last year.
Internet sales continued to grow: the company now sells 97 per cent of its seat inventory through the Internet; an increase of three per cent on last year's March figure.
