Shares in Ryanair slipped 5 per cent today after the no-frills airline reported a drop in the proportion of seats it filled in June compared with the same month of 2002.
In June Ryanair carried 1,829,692 passengers compared to 1,245,416 in the same month last year. But the load factor which measures the capacity of the airline fell from 88 to 79 per cent due to the opening of a number of new routes.
