Ryanair is suspending three of its French routes over the winter months and is postponing the launch of a new route until February.
The three routes, which includes one from Shannon to Nantes, will be suspended from October 31st to February 28th; the other two routes are Luton to Brest and Nottingham East Midlands to Niems.
"We have selected these routes for withdrawal because they were the poorest performers in terms of advance bookings," said Peter Sherrard, Ryanair's head of communications.
"However, we have assured each of the relevant airports that these routes will restart next February, well in advance of the summer season when travel to the French regions is strong."
The carrier announced that it plans to defer the launch of a new route from Stansted to Deauville until February 28th. It had been due to commence travel from October 31st.
He said the airline planned to announce a new European base and add routes to existing bases.
