An amateur soccer coach who was sacked after two months as manager of Whitehall Rangers has accepted an undisclosed settlement in Dublin Circuit Civil Court for breach of contract.

Mr Brian Arkins of St Anthony's, Castleknock Road, Castleknock, Dublin, had sued the Dublin soccer club's trustees, Mr Peter Hedderman, Mr Joe Heron, Mr Patrick Kelly and Ms Martina Duff, for an £18,000 salary outstanding on an alleged minimum two-year contract.
