Grocery giant Tesco’s expansion throughout the UK and Ireland looks set to continue after it posted another strong rise in sales today.
The group, which announced full-year profits of £1 billion sterling in April, said like-for-like sales in the last three months were 6.7 per cent ahead on last year.
Tesco added today that it planned to reward shoppers with a further round of price cuts on Monday worth £60 million sterling.
The company has 75 outlets and employs 9,500 staff in the Republic.
