Christmas is coming in case you haven't noticed and this year Santa's Kingdom will touch down in a new purpose built exhibition centre in Punchestown, Naas, Co Kildare.

Organisers say the rezoning was to allow for a refurbished Santa's Workshop, a re-routed Elf Street and an expanded Snow-zone.

The kingdom promises an unforgettable trip to Santa’s homeland replete with elves, real reindeer, an ice cave and an audience with the big man himself.

Even Scrooge will be on hand to relieve parents and children of a €24.50 entrance fee.

The kingdom was such a success last year, selling 160,000 tickets in a ten-day period, the organisers have expanded the operation to three venues in the UK and invested over €10 million.

Santa's Kingdom Super Shuttle will begin departures from Punchestown on November 29th.

Talking about this year's event Mr Gerry Bolger said: "Last year was a huge success and this year we have taken even more measures to ensure Santa's Kingdom is a greater success.

"We are delighted to be able to bring Santa's Kingdom to so many people in both Ireland and the UK and are sure that everyone who visits Santa's Kingdom this year will have an unforgettable experience," he added.

Information about the kingdom can be found on their website santaskingdom.ie
