The search for a fisherman missing off the west Cork coast has been extended after it resumed at first light this morning.
The man, a Egyptian in his 30s, fell overboard the Irish fishing boat, the Janireh, 11 miles southwest of the Fastnet Lighthouse at around 2am.
The Navy's LE Emer, RNLI lifeboats from Baltimore and Castletownbere and a number of local fishing boats as well as the Coast Guard Helicopter have been assisting in the search.
