The search for a missing Tyrone woman, who was last seen in Strabane last Thursday week, has today focused on Dublin.
Attracta Harron, 65, went missing last Thursday morning while walking to her home in Strabane, Co Tyrone, after attending mass across the border in Lifford, Co Donegal.
Hopes were raised after a woman answering her description was spotted on the Halfpenny Bridge in the centre of Dublin on Sunday last.
The family of the woman have been handing out leaflets in the centre of Dublin, following the reports.
Her daughter-in-law Anna Harron said the woman, who has been interviewed a number of times by the Gardai, was able to describe what she was wearing. Mrs Harron said the response from the public to today's appeal in the Irish capital had been tremendous.
"We believe perhaps she is a bit disorientated wandering around Dublin. We are very hopeful she is still out there alive. "It is extremely out of character. She was in very good health and looking forward to Christmas and having her family around her."
Police on both sides of the border searched the area close to her home, including the river where she crossed back over into Northern Ireland. She is described as being of medium build, with grey-blonde hair and was wearing a full length, bright red duffel coat and black trousers.
