Worries about a highly unsavoury form of cross-Border traffic were expressed by Ms Helen Keogh (PD). Asking when a paedophile register would be established, she said the Minister for Justice must be aware that paedophiles were coming south of the Border to avoid being registered in Northern Ireland. The South must not be turned into a haven for paedophiles, she said. House leader, Mr Donie Cassidy, said he would convey Ms Keogh's concerns to the Minister as soon as possible.
