Hague tribunal, Serbian Justice Minister Vladan Batic said yesterday.

"As far as the Serbian authorities and my ministry and the police are concerned, we are going to take measures for those people who are indicted by the tribunal and are not our citizens to be transferred to The Hague," Mr Batic told reporters.

"There is no reason whatsoever that Serbia should be an oasis for war criminals," said Mr Batic, who was speaking after he and the Yugoslav Justice Minister, Mr Momcilo Grubac, held talks with UN prosecutor, Ms Carla del Ponte, at the war crimes court. Belgrade is under heavy pressure to start co-operating with the International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia.
