A British teenager who paid €140 to buy a PlayStation through eBay got a nice surprise when it arrived in the post. There was no PlayStation - but it was stuffed with a wad of euro notes amounting to €65,400. The 16-year-old told his parents, who told the police. They are investigating. "We know that eBay is a great place to pick up a bargain," joked the online auctioneer.

It's been a rough crossing for the replica Viking ship, the Sea Stallion (left), which is making its way from Denmark to Dublin. Having waited for better weather, this week it had to be towed from Norway to Scotland because of the bad conditions. At least the Vikings could kill time by raiding monasteries.
