Seven people arrested for questioning over the kidnap and robbery in Co Dublin last week in which over €500,000 was stolen were released by gardaí early this morning.
A Garda spokesman said files are being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions in all of the cases. Three other people are still being held for questioning.
Thirteen people have been arrested in connection with the "tiger kidnapping" last week in which a gang entered the home of the assistant manager of Bank of Ireland in Balbriggan, Gerry Smith, and held him, his wife and two adult sons overnight.
He was ordered to go to work as normal on Thursday morning, where he removed a sum of cash to be handed over.
The first two people arrested - an 18-year-old woman and 23-year-old man - were detained after gardaí stopped a car in Julianstown, Co Meath, on Thursday.
Gardaí wrongly believed the car they were travelling in contained the €500,000 withdrawn by Mr Smith for the safe return of his kidnapped wife and sons Killian (23) and Conor (17).
Four men who were among the seven freed overnight were arrested at a hotel in Ballymun at 1am on Friday.
Three cars used in the robbery have now been recovered.
