The trial of a former senior Ulster GAA official who faces 75 charges of sex abuse of children over a 20-year period was adjourned at Monaghan Circuit Court.
The accused, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faces charges relating to incidents of alleged indecent assault and sexual assault involving 11 young girls and boys, aged between seven and 15 years, over a period from 1958 to 1978.
Judge Matt Deery entered the case for hearing at the next sitting of the Circuit Court in Monaghan in March. The accused was remanded on continuing bail.
