Dublin's Shelbourne Hotel is to reopen today after an 18-month €83 million face lift.

The five-star hotel, now owned by the Marriott group, has 265 guest rooms including 19 suites named after famous guests like Michael Collins and Princess Grace.

The Irish Constitution was drafted in Room 112 in 1922, and the hotel is also mentioned in James Joyce's Ulysses.

The Shelbourne recently hosted the post-match banquet following the Six Nations rugby international between Ireland and England at Croke Park.
