A man fired four shots into the door of a public house in Finglas, Dublin, on Saturday night.
The incident occurred at about 2 a.m. when two men on a motorcycle approached the Castle pub on St Margaret's Road. According to gardai, people watching from inside the building saw one man dismount and approach the locked door of the pub. Gardai said the man was not masked but his face was partially hidden by his jacket collar and hat. He drew a handgun and fired at the door four times, before "casually" walking back to the motorcycle, on which the two men left the scene.
