Six people remain in hospital following the bus crash on Dublin's Wellington Quay on Saturday,  February 21st.

Six people remain in hospital following the bus crash on Dublin's Wellington Quay on Saturday,  February 21st.

In a statement St James's Hospital said three women admitted following the crash are in a "stable, not critical condition".

A woman being treated in St Vincent's Hospital is also described as being in a stable condition. A spokesman said he was unable to comment on the seriousness of the injuries of those in hospital.

Two women remain in hospital at the Mater where their condition is described as "not critical". One is due to be discharged tomorrow.

Yesterday, gardaí reconstructed the bus crash in an attempt. Officers said the reconstruction was aimed at garnering extra technical details on the crash, including the speed of the bus that struck the pedestrians.

The inquiry committee set up by Dublin Bus to examine the accident met for the first time last week. Chaired by Mr Arnold O'Byrne, chairman of the Dublin Bus audit review group, the inquiry team will present a preliminary report in six weeks.
