The number of Special Olympics participants who have been reported missing has risen to six after two coaches did not arrive at Dublin Airport for their flights home this afternoon.
One of the coaches is from the Sudan while the second is from Pakistan.
The news comes as gardai continued a search for four members of the Special Olympics delegation from Niger.
The coach and three athletes from the Niger team were last seen leaving Bewley's Hotel on Merrion Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin at 8 a.m. yesterday. They were due to go shopping in Dublin city centre.
The men, aged from 21 to 37, are named as Sekouba Abdoulaye, Elassane Mamoudou, Boikol Issaballo Ousmane, and Hamagou Yalouba.
Gardaí say all four are native French-speakers and have very little English.
Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to contact Donnybrook Garda Station at: 01-6669200.
