John Moloney, the talented head chef at Wicklow's Tinakilly House, will be revealing his secrets for successful Christmas cooking on Friday and Saturday, November 21st and 22nd. The programme begins on Friday evening with a demonstration and a tour of the Tinakilly kitchens, concluding with dinner and an overnight stay. After breakfast the following day, the detailed demonstration - which includes all aspects of food, from selection and storage to preparation and presentation - begins, and concludes with a tasting lunch. Moloney worked previously as a chef instructor with CERT, and Tinakilly is, of course, celebrated for its imaginative Christmas programmes, so this is a chance to learn from someone who really knows.
