A soldier has been questioned in connection with one of four deaths at an army barracks in Britain.
Sean Benton (20) was found with five gunshot wounds to his chest at the Deepcut Army barracks in July 1995. Police confirmed a soldier has been interviewed in connection with the death of Private Benton.
He was one of four young soldiers whose suspicious deaths at the barracks near Camberley, Surrey, are being re-investigated by police.
A spokesman said: "A serving soldier attended Guildford police station last week and was interviewed under caution in connection with evidence given to the inquest into the death of Sean Benton.
"We continue to keep an open mind and have not come to any conclusion as to how or why they [the four victims] died".
Pte Jim Collinson (17) died from gunshot wounds earlier this year, Pte Geoff Gray (17) was found with two gunshot wounds to his head in September 2001, and Pte Cheryl James (18) was discovered with a bullet wound to the head in 1995.
The parents of the Deepcut victims have demanded a public inquiry into the deaths.
