THE family of Stephen Restorick, the British army lance bombardier who was murdered last month by an IRA sniper in Bessbrook, Co Armagh, has expressed thanks to those in Ireland who sent messages of condolence following his death.
In an insertion in the acknowledgments column on page 27 of today's edition of The Irish Times, Stephen's parents, John and Rita Restorick of Peterborough in England, express the hope that his death might be a "catalyst for peace".
