Spanish police are today expected to step up their search for missing Irish teenager Amy Fitzpatrick.
Amy (15) went missing as she walked home on New Year's Day from a friend's house where she was babysitting in Calahonda near Mijas in southern Spain.
She was walking a dirt track and unlit path near her home.
Amy lived in Donaghmede on Dublin's northside before she moved to Spain with her mother three years ago.
Search teams backed by a helicopter and sniffer dogs have combed the area near the road she would have taken to return home. That search has now been extended to include the mountains surrounding the Fitzpatrick's home.
Police in Mijas, backed by specialist units drafted in from Seville and Madrid, are set to organise a fresh search.
The Civil Guard has asked for volunteers to join them at the local football ground in La Cala de Mijas at 9am to take part in the hunt, which will cover the area already searched on previous days but with a wider radius of approximately 6km.
