The St Patrick's Day Skyfestfireworks display has delighted the tens of thousands of revellers gathered in Dublin's city centre for the spectacle.
The twenty-minute display, suing 3,000 metric tons of explosive, was designed by Groupe F, the team behind the millennium celebrations at the Eiffel Tower.
Huge roars of excitement greeted every salvo as the party atmosphere builds in the capital.
The best viewing points were along the North Quays adjacent to the Customs House as the 43 firing areas were placed in the centre of the River Liffey.
