Gardaí have seized a number of devices used to detect speed traps during searches at a number of locations in Dublin.
The devices alert the user to the presence of Garda speed radars.
These items are illegal under the Road Traffic (Speed Meter Detector) Regulations, 1991. Under this legislation, it is also an offence to import, fit and supply speed meter detectors and jammers.
No arrests were made and investigations are continuing.
