Several unnamed South Africa players have been fined for violent play in the Twickenham defeat to England in November, according to BBC Sport Online.
Coach Rudolf Straeuli, who defended his men in the immediate aftermath of the game, also warned the punished that they will not be selected for the World Cup if they misbehave in the Super 12, which starts next month.
None of the individuals have been named but Jannes Labuschagne was sent off during the match for a late challenge on Jonny Wilkinson which left the England fly-half with a serious shoulder injury.
Misdemeanours by captain Corne Krige, full-back Werner Greeff and Robbie Fleck were also highlighted by the television cameras.
Krige escaped censure at the time while Greeff was cleared after being cited for a high tackle on Phil Christophers.
"We have dealt with the discipline side. It was unacceptable," Straeuli told the BBC.
"We have called those individual players in and have dealt with them in-house.
"The players know they will be watched during the Super 12. Any indiscipline from them and they know they won't go to the World Cup."
At the time, Straeuli denied his side had a discipline problem but now condemns the behaviour labelled "brutal" by England coach Clive Woodward.
"Some of it was retaliation and some of it frustration. It's unacceptable in rugby," said Straeuli.
The teams will meet again in the World Cup on October 18th.
