Tickets for the eagerly awaited concerts by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band in Dublin next summer sold out within hours of going on sale today.
The legendary US rocker and original 1980s line-up are set to play three gigs at the RDS to nearly 100,000 fans on May 22nd, 23rd and 25th in the second leg of the musician's 2007-2008 world tour.
The tickets cost €91.25 and €81.25 each and went on sale this morning at 9am. They sold out completely before noon. Springsteen's twenty-third album 'Magic' was released October 2nd reaching Platinum sales status in Ireland.
The album also reached number one on the charts in Ireland, Austria, Canada, Denmark, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, the US and the across Europe.
