Today FM owner Scottish Radio Holdings is on course to post satisfactory annual results, with first-half revenues expected to rise 10 per cent, the firm said today.
The group said radio revenues would rise 12 per cent during the half year to end-March, while press revenues would rise 8 per cent.
The figures exclude the impact of acquisitions. Including acquisitions, radio and press revenues are expected to be 14 per cent higher, the firm said in a trading statement ahead of its half year results on May 20th.
The firm said the rise in radio revenues would reflect a 11 per cent increase in national advertising revenue, a 13 per cent growth in local advertising revenues and 12 per cent increase in sponsorship and promotions income.
Scottish Radio operates 24 wholly and partly owned radio services and operates five digital radio multiplexes across Britain and Ireland.
