A remote-control deep-diving vehicle has located the wreckage of the Japanese fishing vessel which sank when a US submarine hit it more than a week ago.
A spokesman for the US Navy Pacific Fleet said a remote-operated vehicle had located the vessel.
The 190-foot Ehime Maru, a training vessel for commercial fishermen, sank minutes after the USS Greeneville made a spectacular surfacing manoeuvrecolliding with the fishing vessel.
