The prime suspect in the Rhys Jones murder case has been released on bail for firearms offences.
The 17-year-old suspect was arrested earlier this week as part of an investigation not connected to the 11-year-old's murder in a park in Liverpool in August last year.
He was arrested following raids at three addresses in Croxteth carried out by Merseyside Police's gun unit.
The teenager was bailed along with man (20).
