Gardaí have arrested seven men suspected of involvement with dissident republicans
According to the Garda, the seven , who range in age from 20 to 50, were held "as part of the ongoing investigation into the activities of dissident republicans in the Munster Region".
Five men are being detained in Cork City, while two are held in Limerick. All are being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
