Sweden's Jesper Parnevik, trying to recover from a slow start to the season, shot seven-under-par 65 to share the first-round lead with Australian duo Geoff Ogilvy and Ben Ferguson in the PGA Honda Classic at Coral Springs in Florida.

Nine players are within one shot of the lead as Fulton Allem, Jim Gallagher jnr, J.P. Hayes, Scott Simpson, Hunter Haas and Bernhard Langer all shot 66.
Another 12 players were just two shots off the pace.
Parnevik picked up seven birdies in a bogey-free round. He got off to a fast start, sinking a 10-foot birdie putt on the first hole and adding birdies at the third and fourth.
Ogilvy played on the Australasian, European and South African tours last year. He gained exemption for the PGA Tour by finishing 14th at last season's qualifying tournament and showed promise by tying for third at the Tucson Open in Arizona in January.
