A 26-year-old man has died in Stockholm, four days after thugs beat him up at a match between AIK Solna and IFK Gothenburg.
Solna hooligans beat and kicked the visiting fan and he died from his injuries.
Police spokesman Mr Oesten Gustafsson said he believed it was the first time that a fan had been killed in a hooligan confrontation.
"Even these groups believe things went too far," he said.
