The international terminal at Sydney airport was evacuated today after police received a bomb threat.
About 400 passengers evacuated from the terminal gathered at a nearby carpark while Australian police and emergency services assessed the threat.
No details of the bomb threat were given.
"The police received a bomb threat this afternoon about 4 p.m. which they judged serious enough to liaise with us about evacuating the international terminal which we have done under our normal evacuation procedures," airport spokesman Mr Peter Gibbs said.
