Members of the Garvaghy Road Residents' Coalition travel to Belfast today to meet members of the Parades Commission to discuss the deteriorating Drumcree situation.

The meeting comes after serious disturbances in Portadown after an Orange Order parade on Tuesday night, in which civilians and police officers were injured.

A spokesperson for the residents said they would be raising the issue of "non-compliance with conditions and restrictions imposed on various marches in connection with Drumcree".

Tension remained high in loyalist areas of Portadown yesterday after a night of violence which saw petrol bomb attacks launched on Corcrain Orange Hall. A Protestant-owned cafe was also badly damaged by a gang of youths.
