The death has taken place of Seán Ó Ceallaigh, the father-in-law of Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
Mr Ó Ceallaigh, who lived in Clontarf, Dublin, was originally from Kilcummin, Killarney, Co Kerry.
He died at the Bon Secours Hospital in Glasnevin after a short illness.
Mr Ó Ceallaigh is survived by seven children, one of whom, Fionnuala, is the wife of Mr Kenny.

The remains will be removed from the Jennings Funeral Home on Oscar Traynor Road, Coolock, to St John the Baptist Church, Clontarf, at 6pm this evening.
The funeral will take place after 11am Mass tomorrow to Dardistown Cemetery.
