London - A former deputy headmaster jailed for life in Britain for the brutal murder of his foster daughter yesterday lost a bid to clear his name.
Sion Jenkins was convicted in July 1998 of battering 13-year-old Billie-Jo Jenkins to death in a horrific attack with a metal tent spike in the family's garden in Hastings, Sussex.
London's court of appeal rejected claims by 41-year-old Jenkins that scientific evidence which played a key role in his conviction was "inaccurate".
