The team to represent the Irish Bridge Union at the European mixed championships in Aachen, Germany, next spring will be decided in the Regent, 25 Waterloo Road, Dublin, on December 13th14th, when the semi-finals will be played over 48 boards, and the final over 64.
In the semi-finals Dr G. M. Keaveney, P. Maguire, P. Porteous, and M. Trench will oppose N. K. and K. FitzGibbon, D. L. and B. Seligman, while P. Walshe, G. Barton, T. Hanlon, and A. Dillon will play J. Carroll, H. Dowling-Long, T.Garvey, and R. O'Keeffe.
