Police in north Belfast are appealing to the public for help following an assault on the Antrim Road that left a 16-year-old boy needing hospital treatment.
Shortly after 8.30pm last night the boy was walking between Downview Avenue and Waterloo Gardens when he was attacked by a number of people.
The victim was taken to hospital with injuries to his face.
One of the attackers is described as being 5ft 10in in height with ginger hair. He was wearing a white hoodie and dark trainers. A second attacker is described as being 5ft 7in in height with dark wavy hair, and he was wearing a purple lacoste tracksuit.
