While relatively few people play dominoes, most of us have at one time or another laid out the pieces carefully and then rejoiced in toppling them over. We couldn't manage anything remotely as spectacular as the feats on TV shows such as Record Breakers, but that was our inspiration.

If you ever felt like having a chance to knock over copious amounts of dominoes, but couldn't be bothered setting them all up, or hadn't enough of them, then this ingenious little puzzle game could be the answer to all your dreams.

In Mr Domino you take on the role of a domino. But your domino is a little different to any other. As each level starts your domino is placed on a track littered with obstacles of all shapes and sizes. Your domino has the ability to place other dominoes at any point around the level, but the idea is to position them strategically so that you can set off a chain-reaction of events when you get to tip them over. In order to do this you have to lay the dominoes in just the right places. Each level has a pre-set number of chain reactions for you to set off in a certain time before you can go on to the next, harder level.

If you manage to place all the dominoes perfectly, you can set off a monster chain-reaction, which will see you complete the level in one clean sweep. And very satisfying it is too.

Although you can speed, slow down, and turn left and right with your domino, it constantly moves at a certain pace (hence the title You Can't Stop Mr Domino) around each level so you have to be ready at all times to release your dominoes on cue. In a perfect scenario, you would spend one "lap" placing the dominoes and when you come around again all you would have to do is tip them over and sit back and enjoy the show. But that's like saying all you have to do is pot 15 reds, 15 blacks and the colours for a 147 in snooker.

In fact behind its cute appearance, Mr Domino hides a devilishly clever puzzle. This very original game might not have very fancy graphics or sounds, but who cares when it's this much fun and almost incomparable to anything else? It will certainly appeal to almost all game players, regardless of age or preference. A nice change indeed.
