Both main and fringe festivals enter their final week. Openings in the main festival include the Passion Machine production of Declan Lynch's new play Massive Damages. Its opening in Limerick had to be postponed last week due to the illness of Tom Hickey, who hopefully will have made a full recovery. Other highlights include Amharclann de hIde's Milseog an tSamhraldh; the premiere of Alex Johnston's Melonfarmer and Robert Lapage's Elsinore, a multimedia one-man show based on the world of Shakespeare's Hamlet. Dublin audiences shouldn't miss this chance to see The Leenane Trilogy. Fringe highlights include Big Bad Wolf by Corn Exchange, (winner of last year's Sexiest Fringe Show Award); Ben Elton's Silly Cow and northern company Prime Cut's production of Stone and Ashes.
