DUBLIN'S partygoers were all at sea this week as they had to attend another event with a maritime theme when Collins Press published Kevin Dwyer's book of aerial photography entitled Ireland - Our Island Home. And who better to smash the proverbial bottle against the side of the book than a man who has his very own island home, Charles J. Haughey?
The former Taoiseach is of course a very keen sailor and a member of the somewhat dubiously titled Irish Cruising Club, whose chairman, Liam McGonagle, asked him to say a few words about the book. The naval contingent also included John Kavanagh, Commandant of the Naval Service, RNLI chairman Terry Johnston and Robert Allen, head of the Irish Professional Photographers' Association.
