Gardaí investigating the murder of Longford woman Sharon Coughlan have made a further arrest.
A man (19) was detained in the Longford area shortly after 1pm today and is being questioned at Longford Garda Station.
A man (28) and a woman (29) were arrested earlier today in connection with the murder.
All three are being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Ms Coughlan (37), originally from Britain, was found strangled in the downstairs bathroom of a house in Great Water Street in Longford on Saturday night.
The house in which her body was found is a few doors away from where she lived with her two children, aged 10 and five, and her partner.
Ms Coughlan had lived in Longford for more than 20 years, and worked at the Market Bar in Ballymahon Street.
