Around 1,500 people gathered on Bray's main street as the funeral cortege passed.

A lone piper preceded Mr Murray's coffin which was covered in a tricolour and brought by a fire service vehicle to the Church of the Holy Redeemer where a service was held by parish priest Fr John O'Connell.
