The Irish Republican Socialist Party said it was taking seriously a police report of a threat to the life of one of its leading members. In a statement the "party said the RUC had informed a leading IRSP member, Mr Kevin McQuillan, last knight that it had intercepted a "suspicious item" at Belfast sorting office addressed to him.
