The RUC have arrested three men and recovered a sum of money following a robbery on the Waterside area of Derry last night.
Shortly after 10 p.m. three masked men armed with hammers entered an off-licence attached to a pub. They threatened staff and took a sum of money before fleeing the scene.
Subsequently the RUC stopped a car in the Ardmore area and detained three men.
Meanwhile in Belfast last night RUC officers arrested four men after they recovered a large quantity of cannabis during the search of a house in Belfast last night.

At about 10 p.m. police entered a house at Sicily Park in the city and discovered cannabis with an estimated street value of £400,000. Several other items were also taken away by police for examination.
