Three people were being questioned yesterday after a £1 million haul of ecstasy, cannabis, cocaine and amphetamines was made in the North.
One man was held after police searched a car at Dee Street in east Belfast. In a follow-up search in Newtownards, drugs worth over £900,000 were recovered. Two others were arrested in Dungiven, Co Derry, when cannabis was found in two cars.
Police said the seizure represented a major blow to the drugs trade in the north-west.
