Three men are due to appear in court this morning in connection with the discovery of €500,000 worth of drugs at a cannabis growhouse in east Cork.
The three Chinese nationals were among four men arrested by gardaí when they raided an industrial premises at the Springfield Industrial Estate in Youghal on Monday might.
Two of the four were taken to Midleton Garda Station and two to Cobh Garda Station for questioning about the discovery of 2,000 plants at the growhouse.
Last night gardaí released without charge one of the two men being held in Cobh, and a file will be prepared for the DPP in relation to his involvement in the case.
The other three men who are all in their 20s and 30s will be brought before Carrick-on-Suir District Court this morning and charged in connection with the drug-growing operation.
Elsewhere, gardaí are continuing to question a Chinese woman arrested in east Cork on Tuesday and brought to Mallow Garda station for questioning about the cannabis growing operation.
