Three men are being question by gardai in Dublin following an armed raid at a Blanchardstown supermarket this morning.
The men entered a Mace convenience store in the town at around 9.30am brandishing what appeared to be a firearm.
They demanded access to the shop's safe and assaulted a number of staff members- one female employee is understood to have been struck on the back of the head
The men fled the scene with a small amount of money a short time later but were arrested in a nearby apartment complex.
The raider's car was also found as was an imitation firearm.
The men are being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act and can be detained without charge for up to three days.
Two members of staff were brought to hospital for treatment.
