Three youths were arrested last night after trying to drive a car through an Orange parade in Lisburn to avoid police.
The incident happened at Market Street in the centre of the town after PSNI officers tried to stop a car seen acting suspiciously.
After avoiding the police the car attempted to drive through the city's parade. Two girls were reportedly struck by the vehicle but are thought to have escaped injury.
Police said the youths abandoned the car and made off on foot but were arrested a short distance away.
The parade passed off without further incident.
Meanwhile Orange parades in east Belfast and south Belfast passed off without incident.
Police and community workers hailed a reduction in the number of people who were drinking on the streets during the parades.
