Gardai investigating the murder of Mr Martin Comerford, whose body was found in a skip in Dublin a fortnight ago, last night detained three people for questioning. They have also recovered a gun. The three were being held at Terenure Garda station. One was later released without charge.

The body of Mr Comerford, (36) of Tom Kelly House, Charlemont Street Dublin was found in a skip in Ranelagh on Monday, April 26th. He had been due to go on trial at the Central Criminal Court that morning charged with the murder of a drug dealer.

Mr Anthony Beatty (39) of Rialto Court, Dublin was shot at a public house then known as the Wild Heather, in Mary Street, Dublin, on November 30th 1997.
