Two men and a woman remain in Garda custody this evening after being arrested in connection with the April murder of gangland figure Eamon Dunne.
A man was arrested in Blanchardstown this morning. The other man and the woman were arrested in Dublin city centre.
Two handguns and a quantity of cocaine with an estimated street value of €70,000 were seized by arresting gardaí, a Garda spokesman said.
The two men are being detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007 and the woman is detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act 1939.
They can be detained for one week and three days respectively.
Dunne (34), Finglas, Dublin, was shot dead at the Fassaugh House in Cabra as he attended a 40th birthday party on April 26th.
Two armed and masked men entered the pub and shot Dunne as he sat with members of his family and gang. The killing was captured on CCTV inside the pub.
Dunne was the leader of Dublin's main drugs gang. He assumed control of the Finglas-based gang when its then leader Martin "Marlo" Hyland was shot dead by the gang in December 2006.
Under Dunne's leadership the gang had been linked to 14 murders. Dunne had been warned by gardaí his life was in danger. He often wore a bullet-proof vest.
